International Public Management Association for Human Resources Scholarships
Each year, the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IRA-HR) provides up to two one-time scholarships for $1,000 each to the legal child of chapter members who are currently seeking an undergraduate degree with a major in human resource management, business administration, or public administration. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time with a course load of at least 30 undergraduate credit hours per academic year, be pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university in the United States, and be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or better. For consideration, applicants are required to complete an application and submit official copies of all academic undergraduate transcripts before the deadline of June 3rd.
National Business Association Annual Scholarships
For graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, the National Business Association (NBA) grants up to five annual scholarships for $1,500 apiece to dues paying members or the dependent children of dues paying members who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate business program for accounting, finance, management, human resources management, entrepreneurship, information technology, marketing, business administration, or economics. NBA scholarships are awarded to students who possess above-average academic credentials, rank in the top third of their class, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. During the selection process from January 1st to April 1st, recipients are chosen based on extra-curricular activities, community involvement, business career goals, and academic performance.
